(Burley, WA) – Matt Uhrich has joined Legacy as the Corporate Compliance & Safety Director for the wireless infrastructure, RF solutions, standby power and remote services firm. He anticipates a role volunteering in the NWSA to help create the nationally recognized climber credentials.
Mr. Uhrich has previously served as the Training & Safety Supervisor for an internationally renowned fall protection firm. He has focused much of his career on comprehensive fall protection systems and instruction. His experience included tower safety and rescue instruction in 14 countries.
Matt is an ANSI Z359 program Administrator as well as an EMT with multiple credentials in both safety and training. “We are thrilled to have attracted a nationally recognized Subject Matter Expert to our team!” said Bob Irving, Vice President of Operations for Legacy.
His experience across an international range of clientele will fit well with Legacy’s diverse client base. “We believe strongly that everyone on our team will benefit from having such a well-rounded safety expert on our staff,” added Phil Peterson who is the Electrical Administrator for Legacy Power Systems.
Uhrich comes to Legacy after serving as a Fall Protection, High Angle Rescue Instructor and the Training & Safety Supervisor at Gravitec Systems, Inc. for seven years. Prior to that he was a fire fighter across multiple jurisdictions.
